Borussia Dortmund will go up against the high-flying VfB Stuttgart away from home in the DFB-Pokal round of 16 on Wednesday.

The DFB-Pokal round of 16 will take place this week, and a tough test against VfB Stuttgart lies in store for Borussia Dortmund. The Black and Yellows were thoroughly outplayed when these two sides met in the Bundesliga last month, and will need to deliver a much-improved performance if they are to have any chance of progressing to the quarterfinals.

With Borussia Dortmund's hopes of winning the Bundesliga title this season in the balance, Edin Terzic will view the DFB-Pokal as their best chance of winning silverware this season. He will hope that his attacking players can step up after misfiring in Leverkusen on Sunday.

Borussia Dortmund will also have to be wary of Stuttgart's in-form strike duo of Serhou Guirassy and Deniz Undav. Both players were on target in the Bundesliga clash between the two sides last month. Mats Hummels will once again be key for BVB on Wednesday, while Gregor Kobel will hope to keep his former club at bay.
