Borussia Dortmund star Serhou Guirassy has been a reliable source of goals for them since joining from VfB Stuttgart in 2024. In his first two full Bundesliga seasons with the BVB, the Guinean finished as one of the top three scorers in the competition with 26 and 17 goals, respectively.

Blessed with devastating finishing skills and aerial prowess, Guirassy is the vital cog that has kept this Dortmund side ticking over the last two years with his prolific ability in front of goal. And he hasn't merely stat-padded, the 31-year-old often shows up in key moments when his side is looking for a late winner, or against the Europe's best during Champions League nights.

But there's one fixture where Guirassy has consistently struggled to find the net, and that's Der Klassiker against Bayern Munich.

Guirassy's worrying Der Klassiker record

Since joining Borussia Dortmund, Serhou Guirassy has played in the historic Der Klassiker five times across all competitions. He's bagged a grand total of zero goals.

Guirassy completed 90 minutes in his first two league appearances against the Bavarians, but neither scored or assisted as the rivals drew both games.

Last season, he played 84 minutes of their Munich visit but came up short again, and failed to inspire his side after coming off the bench in the February 2026 clash.

Besides the Bundesliga fixtures, Guirassy also played against Bayern in the 2026 Franz Beckenbauer Supercup in August. Following 63 minutes of no-show, he was taken off for Fabio Silva.

In fact, Guirassy has scored just once against Bayern in eight games, in a 2-2 draw with Stuttgart in September 2022.

Guirassy's dry spell in the Bundesliga

After starting off the new top-flight campaign with back-to-back goals against Hamburg and Hoffenheim, Serhou Guirassy has gone off the boil. He's drawn a blank in their next five games and endured one of his worst goal-droughts with Dortmund.

Moreover, it couldn't come at a worse time as Bayern Munich are up next for the BVB in the league and need Guirassy to find his shooting boots as their title credentials are on the line.

He's only scored in cup games lately, firing a brace against Sabah FK in the Champions League before netting the opening goal of their 3-2 win over Werder Bremen in the DFB-Pokal.

In the Bundesliga however, his goal-tally remains just two for now as the Guinean has struggled for consistency.
