Borussia Dortmund beat Stuttgart 2-0 in the Bundesliga on Saturday as Karim Adeyemi and Julian Brandt came off the bench to net apiece in stoppage-time.
Die Borussen solidified their position in second place of the league standings with 64 points from 28 games, inching closer to a Champions League qualification.
Struggling to break down a stoic Stuttgart side, Dortmund were headed for another draw, but Adeyemi gave them a lifeline in the 94th minute with a nonchalant strike after an opposition defender failed to control a looping cross from Julian Brandt.
Just minutes later, Brandt himself turned a scorer with a fabulous strike into the top-right corner for 2-0 as Dortmund also ended their winless streak in the fixture.
The win was their first in the fixture since October 2022 while extending their winning run in the Bundesliga to four games now, the best run by any club in the division right now.
Dortmund next play Bayer Leverkusen at the Signal Iduna Park on 11 April.
