As Borussia Dortmund players head into the international break, fans might rue the lack of club matches over the next three weeks. But they can still catch 15 of their players in action with 13 different nations and some of them would even come up against each other during the course of these autumn fixtures. Here's a full list of Dortmund teammates who are on collision course:
Veerman vs Nmecha, Schlotterbeck (Netherlands vs Germany)
It's only been a few weeks since Felix Nmecha and Nico Schlotterbeck have known Joey Veerman, who joined BVB from PSV Eindhoven just last month, and we're already getting to see the Dortmund teammates lock horns this week as Netherlands face Germany in a blockbuster Nations League encounter.
Veerman has been recalled by Xavi after over two years away from the Oranje squad during which time the midfielder also had a fallout with previous manager, Ronald Koeman. Due to his lack of international experience lately, we could the summer arrival come off the bench, and the battle between him and Nmecha particularly, for midfield control, will be enticing to watch.

Ryerson vs Silva (Norway vs Portugal)
While much of the narrative around this fixture has been about two goalscoring greats Cristiano Ronaldo and Erling Haaland coming up against each other for the first time, Dortmund fans have one extra reason to look forward to this top-billing clash, which is teammates Ryerson and Silva going up against each other.
Again, this also looks dicy as the last one, with Silva coming back into the squad after nearly two years and having made just once appearance with the Selecao before. It's unlikely that Portuguese manager Jorge Jesus will play him from the start for such an important fixture, but could be given a chance to prove himself late on following which his paths could cross with Ryerson.

Nmecha, Schlotterbeck vs Karetsas (Germany vs Greece)
On the same night that Norway and Portugal face-off, Germany take on Greece and the Augsburg Arena will be witness to another enticing battle between Dortmund teammates as Nmecha and Schlotterbeck come up against Karetsas.
Like Veerman, the German duo are still only getting to know Karetsas, who joined from KRC Gent last month as Dortmund's second most expensive signing in history. He's adapted to life in Germany rather seamlessly and it'll be interesting to see how Nmecha and Schlotterbeck deal with his offensive threats.
For their second face-off, however, Waldemar Anton is set to come in and Karetsas will be tasked with unlocking Dortmund's wall.

Karetsas vs Veerman (Greece vs Netherlands)
The Group 2 of League A in the Nations League is clearly the most interesting of them all for Dortmund fans, as it throws up another exciting matchup between new Dortmund players, Konstantinos Karetsas and Joey Veerman.
While Karetsas is a more direct in his offensive qualities and will be tasked with unlocking defenses with his swift passing and pace in transitions, Veerman is the deep-lying playmaker tasked with controling the game's tempo with his elite passing range and vision.
