Borussia Dortmund have had quite a few prolific strikers on their books in recent memory. From Robert Lewandowski and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Donyell Malen and Serhou Guirassy, the BVB boast an enviable list of goalscorers who have donned their fabled black and yellow.

In the current setup under Niko Kovac, Guirassy is the sole talisman upfront. Signed from VfB Stuttgart in 2024 for just 18 million euros, the Guinean international has more than repaid the sum by producing two highly prolific seasons for Dortmund.

His debut season yielded a total of 38 goals, including 21 in the Bundesliga, a tally that was bettered only by Bayern Munich's Harry Kane, but bagged the Golden Boot for Champions League with 13 strikes to his name, including a stunning hat-trick against Barcelona in the quarter-finals.

Now in his second term, the striker found the net 21 times in all competitions. He was an instrumental figure in helping Dortmund achieve second place in the German top-flight as Guirassy scored 17 goals. Now with the 2025-26 Bundesliga season behind us, let's see where does he rank among other goalscorers in the division:

At number five, we have Michael Olise. The Bayern Munich assist-machine has firmly backed his creativity with some devastating finishing too as the winger scored 15 times for the champions this season.

One ahead of him is Czech Republic ace Patrik Schick, who continues to deliver for Bayer Leverkusen with his prolific exploits. The forward netted 16 times in the league this season, which is almost 24% of their goals; cowabanga!

Now at third is Guirassy, who went one ahead of Schick with a goal on the final matchday of the Bundesliga against Werder Bremen. Following a patchy run in the initial few months, the Guinean picked up the paces after the turn of the year and finished the season with four goals from their last five games.

Daniz Undav fell short of hitting the 20-goal mark in the Bundesliga once again as the German international failed to score on the final day against Eintracht Frankfurt and remained on 19 goals for the season.

The only player to have netted more, and by a mile, is Harry Kane. No surprises here. Ever since he's graced the Bundesliga, the Englishman has been on a rampage. He scored another 36 goals this season, including a hat-trick on the final day against Koln, to play a starring role in Bayern's title-winning campaign.
