Borussia Dortmund dispatch Gladbach as fans return to the Westfalenstadion

Borussia Dortmund began the 2020/21 season with a resounding 3-0 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach, and the result was made even more special by the return of the fans at the Westfalenstadion.

9,300 Borussia Dortmund supporters watched their team enjoy a superb 3-0 win over Gladbach at the Westfalenstadion on the opening day of the new season.

Gio Reyna opened the scoring for the Black and Yellows in the first half, finishing from a tight angle after Jude Bellingham’s through ball. Reyna was then fouled inside the box in the 50th minute, resulting in a penalty for the Black and Yellows.

Erling Haaland sent the goalkeeper the wrong way and buried his penalty to open his account for the season. The striker then doubled his tally at the end of a devastating counter-attack to help Borussia Dortmund kick-start their Bundesliga campaign with a 3-0 win.
