Erling Haaland is not thinking about leaving Borussia Dortmund in the summer despite rumours linking him with a move to Barcelona.
Reports in Spain have recently claimed that agent Mino Raiola is eager to move Erling Haaland to FC Barcelona in the summer even though the Catalan giants are said to be struggling financially. But BILD now report that the striker feels very comfortable at Borussia Dortmund and is not thinking at all about leaving. The tabloid adds that Dortmund are also under no pressure to sell him despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
Haaland only joined Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg in January 2020, but his stunning performances have already seen him attract the interest of a number of big clubs in Europe. The Norwegian international has scored 19 goals in just 16 appearances in all competitions for Der BVB so far this season. Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea are all said to be interested in signing him.
Haaland still has three and a half years left on his Borussia Dortmund contract and is very happy at the club. He said just last month that his only dream right now is to help the Black and Yellows win titles. Mino Raiola also said last month that his client is very happy in Dortmund. While Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans Joachim Watzke said recently that he does not expect the 20 year old to leave in the summer.
Haaland reportedly has a release clause in his Borussia Dortmund contract, but BILD say that it does not come into effect until 2022.
