Borussia Dortmund have received a timely boost ahead of this weekend’s six-pointer against Eintracht Frankfurt, with Marco Reus and Raphael Guerreiro both back in team training.

Reus missed the game against FC Köln due to an ankle bruise. While Guerreiro suffered a torn muscle fibre in the DFB-Pokal quarterfinal against Borussia Mönchengladbach earlier this month and has missed the last four games. But the duo are now back in training and should be in the squad for Saturday’s crunch clash.

Their returns come at the perfect time for Borussia Dortmund. The Black and Yellows have seven big games coming up in April, including both legs of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal against Manchester City.

Jadon Sancho is not back yet, and is set to miss this weekend’s clash. Kicker report that there is still hope in the Borussia Dortmund camp that he could be back in time for the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinal against Manchester City. However, Ruhr Nachrichten say that the England international is unlikely to be available until mid-April.

Mateu Morey also missed training on Tuesday and it remains to be seen whether he will be back this weekend. The right-back is currently out with a muscle injury.

Another player who could be a doubt for this weekend’s game is Youssoufa Moukoko. The highly rated striker suffered an injury last week while training with the Germany U-21s. He has already missed the first two group games of the European Championships, and will also be absent for Tuesday’s clash against Romania.
