Borussia Dortmund have announced a 28-man squad for their week-long training camp in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland.

With the start of the new season just two weeks away, Borussia Dortmund are heading off to Switzerland to continue their pre-season preparations. Head coach Marco Rose will look to put his players through their paces and get them ready for the new season during a week-long training camp in Bad Ragaz. And a total of 28 players have made the trip.

A number of talented youngsters have been named in Borussia Dortmund’s training camp squad, including new signing Abdoulaye Kamara, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, Dennis Lütke-Frie, Tom Rothe, Noah Mrosek and Colin Kleine-Bekel. BVB II defenders Lennard Maloney, Antonios Papadopoulos and Albin Thaqi have also traveled due to a shortage of available first-team centre-backs.

Dan-Axel Zagadou, Soumaila Coulibaly and Marcel Schmelzer have also made the trip, and they will continue to work on their rehab in Switzerland. Nnamdi Collins has not traveled after suffering a knee injury during last weekend’s pre-season friendly against VfL Bochum.

Several of the players who took part in the European Championships this summer will join the squad in Bad Ragaz over the course of the training camp. Donyell Malen will also likely join the squad in the next few days, with his move from PSV Eindhoven now imminent.

The Black and Yellows are set to play two pre-season friendlies during their training camp. They will go up against Athletic Bilbao in St. Gallen on Saturday, before taking on Bologna F.C. in Austria next week.
