Four Borussia Dortmund players could be involved as Germany take on Hungary in the UEFA Nations League on Saturday.

Germany will be aiming to claim the first win of their UEFA Nations League campaign on Saturday as they go up against Hungary in Budapest. After being held to draws by both Italy and England, Hansi Flick’s side will be determined to get back to winning ways this weekend.

But Hungary will certainly be no pushovers, having already beaten England during this international break. They have several talented players in their ranks, including RB Leipzig trio Dominik Szoboszlai, Peter Gulacsi and Willi Orban, as well as SC Freiburg’s Roland Sallai.

A number of Borussia Dortmund players will be in contention to feature on Saturday. Niklas Süle is expected to return to the starting XI, while Nico Schlotterbeck, Karim Adeyemi and Julian Brandt will also be looking to get some playing time.

Germany will have to make do without Marco Reus on Saturday, after the Borussia Dortmund captain suffered a thigh injury in training earlier this week. Bayern Munich’s Serge Gnabry is also a doubt due to a calf issue.

It will be interesting to see how many changes Hansi Flick makes to the Germany starting XI to deal with the gruelling workload on the players. Germany are still unbeaten under Flick, having won eight and drawn three of their 11 games under his charge.
