Immanuel Pherai will join 2. Bundesliga side Eintracht Braunschweig when his contract with Borussia Dortmund expires at the end of the month.

Immanuel Pherai will leave Borussia Dortmund this summer after five years at the club. The 21 year old has agreed to join 2. Bundesliga side Eintracht Braunschweig on a free transfer. Pherai has signed a two year contract with Die Löwen, and will be aiming to help them stay in the 2. Bundesliga next season following their promotion from the third division.

Borussia Dortmund II team manager Ingo Preuß revealed earlier this month that Pherai has rejected their offer to extend his contract, and will leave the club in the summer.

The attacking midfielder spent the majority of the recently concluded season playing for the BVB U-23s in the 3. Liga. He scored six goals and assisted a further seven as the young Black and Yellows managed to secure a ninth place finish in the 3. Liga standings.

Pherai was rewarded with the opportunity to make his first-team debut for Borussia Dortmund last month, as he came off the bench in the game against Greuther Fürth. Now, a new chapter awaits him at Eintracht Braunschweig.
