Edin Terzic not worried about finding a replacement for Sebastien Haller

Edin Terzic is not concerned about whether or not Borussia Dortmund can sign a new striker to replace Sebastien Haller in the coming weeks.
Borussia Dortmund enjoyed a winning start to their season on Friday evening as they claimed a dominant 3-0 win over 1860 Munich in the first round of the DFB-Pokal. It was a memorable return to the dugout for Edin Terzic, who has now won each of his last nine competitive games as head coach.
The 39 year old was pleased with his side’s performance, and also spoke about the absence of Sebastien Haller. Sebastian Kehl revealed earlier this week that the former Eintracht Frankfurt and Ajax striker will be sidelined for at least a few months due to his illness.
But Terzic isn’t worried about finding a new striker in the transfer window. Instead, he is focused on finding internal solutions and getting the best out of his players.
"“My job as head coach is to look for an internal solution. We have an excellent youth department, and we have some really good players in our squad. My job is to make sure we find the right solution there for next week.”“The news of Sebastien’s illness is hurting us brutally. We are dealing with it in a very emotional way. We miss him a lot, but we can certainly play for him.”"
Terzic deployed a front four against 1860 Munich, with Youssoufa Moukoko starting up front, Donyell Malen and Karim Adeyemi playing out wide, and Marco Reus in the number ten role. It will be interesting to see what formation he decides to go with for next weekend’s Bundesliga opener against Bayer Leverkusen.
Borussia Dortmund have been linked with a number of strikers in recent days, including Edinson Cavani, Krzysztof Piątek, Anthony Modeste, Marcus Thuram and Edin Dzeko. But with only limited funds available, it remains to be seen who they will be able to sign.
Sebastian Kehl said earlier this week that they will only look to sign another striker this summer if it makes absolute sense for them to do so.
