Borussia Dortmund face another tough test in the Bundesliga on Friday as they go up against the in-form TSG Hoffenheim at the Signal Iduna Park.

A very busy run of fixtures awaits Borussia Dortmund over the next couple of weeks, and they will be aiming to generate some momentum with a strong showing against TSG Hoffenheim on Friday evening. The Black and Yellows have won four and lost one of their five games so far this season. But they have not been able to find their footing just yet.

Hoffenheim are in fine form going into Friday’s game, having won three games in a row in the Bundesliga. André Breitenreiter’s side claimed a stunning 3-0 win away to Bayer Leverkusen just two weeks ago. And their recent record against Borussia Dortmund suggests that we could be in for another hard fought game on Friday.

Borussia Dortmund will have to make do without Donyell Malen (muscular problems) and Mateu Morey (knee) on Friday, while Karim Adeyemi (toe) and Mahmoud Dahoud (shoulder) are both injury doubts. Gio Reyna, on the other hand, looks set to return to the squad after missing last weekend’s trip to Berlin.

TSG Hoffenheim quartet Ihlas Bebou, Benjamin Hübner, Ermin Bicakcic and Philipp Pentke will miss the game through injuries, while Stanley Nsoki is a doubt. Expect them to continue with the back three formation that has worked really well so far.
