Borussia Dortmund will begin their US Tour with a pre-season friendly against San Diego Loyal at the Snapdragon Stadium on Thursday evening.

Borussia Dortmund are preparing for the start of the 2023/24 season in the United States, and they are all set to play a friendly match against USL Championship side San Diego Loyal on Thursday evening. The game will take place at the Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, and kick-off is scheduled for 7:30 pm PT.

Edin Terzic should have the majority of his squad available for selection on Thursday, although USMNT international Gio Reyna is set to miss the game as he continues his recovery from the calf injury he suffered during last month’s CONCACAF Nations League final.

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens (back in training) and Marcel Sabitzer (only arrived in San Diego on Tuesday evening) are doubts for Thursday’s game. Although Karim Adeyemi should make his return to the squad after recovering from the injury he suffered on the final day of last season.

Fans in San Diego will also get to watch the likes of Marco Reus, Sebastien Haller, Donyell Malen, and Nico Schlotterbeck in action on Thursday. New signings Felix Nmecha and Ramy Bensebaini will be in the Borussia Dortmund squad as well.
