Could Thorgan Hazard leave Borussia Dortmund this week?

Borussia Dortmund winger Thorgan Hazard is said to be attracting the interest of Anderlecht, who are hoping to sign him before the transfer window closes in Belgium on Wednesday.
Thorgan Hazard was reportedly told earlier in the summer that he is free to leave Borussia Dortmund. But the winger did not receive any concrete offers before the transfer window closed in Germany last week. However, he could still leave the Black and Yellows as multiple reports in Belgium are claiming that Anderlecht are interested in signing him.
The transfer window in Belgium will close on Wednesday, and Anderlecht will now hope to convince Hazard to return to his homeland. Although it remains to be seen if Borussia Dortmund would be willing to part ways with the 30 year old now as they would not be able to sign a replacement.
While Hazard is highly unlikely to get regular minutes at Borussia Dortmund this season, his versatility could make him a useful back-up option at both full-back and on the wing.
Hazard spent the second half of last season on loan at PSV Eindhoven but returned to Dortmund this summer. He came off the bench in BVB’s Bundesliga opener against FC Köln last month, but was left out of the matchday squad for the matchday three clash against Heidenheim.
There are less than 12 months left on Thorgan Hazard’s current contract with Borussia Dortmund. And if an agreement cannot be reached with Anderlecht, the likelihood is that the winger will leave on a free transfer next summer.
