Borussia Dortmund will hope to get things back on track this weekend as they take on the in-form Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.

A vital game awaits Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga this weekend as they look to prevent their season from going off the rails. The Black and Yellows will be at home to Wolfsburg on Saturday, desperately in need of a win.

Edin Terzic’s side delivered an abject performance away to Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday. And failure to get the three points on Saturday would heap more pressure on the 40 year old.

Borussia Dortmund will have to make do without Marcel Sabitzer on Saturday after he picked up a muscle injury against PSG. Felix Nmecha could come into the starting XI against his former club. But he will need to deliver a much improved performance on Saturday after his poor display against PSG.

Terzic will also likely revert to a back four, with Niclas Füllkrug expected to start up front. Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and Marco Reus made an encouraging impact off the bench on Tuesday and could be in contention to feature against Wolfsburg.

Niko Kovac’s side have made an excellent start to the season, and go into Saturday’s game on the back of four wins in their first five games. Wolfsburg stunned Union Berlin last weekend, with Jonas Wind continuing his fine run of form. The Danish striker has already scored six goals this season, and could cause problems to the BVB defenders on Saturday.

Joakim Mæhle is another player Borussia Dortmund will have to keep an eye on. The right-back likes to venture forward and scored the winner for Wolfsburg against Union Berlin last weekend.
