Borussia Dortmund will be in Bundesliga action on Friday as they make the trip to Sinsheim to take on TSG Hoffenheim.

Edin Terzic’s side returned to winning ways last weekend, earning a narrow 1-0 victory over Wolfsburg. They will now look to find some form and generate momentum, but a tricky test against an in-form TSG Hoffenheim team awaits them on Friday.

Borussia Dortmund put in a much-improved performance at home to Wolfsburg last weekend, with the surprise changes to the starting XI yielding the desired results. It will be interesting to see if Terzic makes more tweaks to his lineup for the trip to Hoffenheim. The Black and Yellows will be without Marcel Sabitzer, Thomas Meunier and Mateu Morey on Friday.

Here we take a look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up for their Bundesliga clash against TSG Hoffenheim.

Gregor Kobel will start between the sticks for Borussia Dortmund on Friday, aiming to make it two clean-sheets in a row in the Bundesliga.

Mats Hummels has been in excellent form of late and will start at centre-back once again on Friday. Nico Schlotterbeck will likely join the 34 year old in defence. The BVB duo will have their task cut-out against the talented Maximilian Beier and Andrej Kramarić.

Ramy Bensebaini and Julian Ryerson will once again start as Borussia Dortmund’s two full-backs, barring any late injuries.

Salih Özcan made the most of his chance in the number six role last weekend, and deserves another shot in the starting XI ahead of the out-of-form Emre Can.

Julian Brandt will also start in the middle of the park. But it will be interesting to see if Felix Nmecha gets another shot after his underwhelming performances against PSG and Wolfsburg.

Marco Reus scored the winning goal last weekend and should be in the starting XI once again on Friday. Donyell Malen should also return to the team after an encouraging cameo performance against Wolfsburg. Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and Karim Adeyemi are the other options for Edin Terzic to consider.

Niclas Füllkrug will likely keep his place in the starting XI up front, with Sebastien Haller and Youssoufa Moukoko expected to start on the bench.

Next. Mats Hummels proving that he is still a key player for Borussia Dortmund. dark
