Borussia Dortmund have faced some great forwards throughout their history, some of whom even became a real thorn in their flesh.

These players made it a point to score against them more often than not, becoming a bogey figure for the Black and Yellows.

One such player is Andrej Kramaric, the Croatian talisman who has become a nightmare for Dortmund in recent years with Hoffenheim.

Last weekend, he struck two penalties against the side, including the match-winning one in stoppage-time which earned his side a 2-1 victory.

Having bagged nine goals against them coming into the fixture, his latest double took his tally into double-digits as Kramaric now has 11 against Dortmund from 18 games.

In doing so, the striker also became the eighth player in history to score at least 10 goals over them as Die Borussen are likely sick at the sight of him.

Kramaric also famously bagged all four goals of Hoffenheim's thumping 4-0 victory at Signal Iduna Park on the final day of the 2019-20 season, which remains one of his best individual displays.

Here are seven other players who have scored 10 or more goals against Dortmund:

7) Bernd Rupp - 10 goals

One of the most feared strikers of the 1960s, Rupp established himself among the most prolific scorers of his time with 143 goals from 308 appearances. That includes 10 against Dortmund, coming with Borussia Monchengladbach, Werder Bremen and Koln.

6) Karl Allgower - 10 goals

A Stuttgart legend, Allgower spent his entire club career playing for the city's two main clubs at the time, Stuttgart Kickers and VfB Stuttgart. It's a no-brainer that he came up against Dortmund regularly with both teams and bagged quite a few goals.

5) Fritz Walter - 12 goals

Captain of West Germany's 1954 World Cup winning side, the late Walter spent almost his entire club career at Kaiserslautern, netting 372 times in the league from 411 appearances. Dortmund remained one of his favorite teams to score against with 12 goals.

4) Stefan Kuntz - 14 goals

A well-known striker of the 1980s and 90s, Kuntz played for many German teams in the Bundesliga such as Bochum, Kaiserslautern and Arminia Bielefeld. He netted 14 goals against Dortmund, including a hat-trick in Bochum colors in 1985.

3) Gerd Muller - 15 goals

The most prolific scorer in the history of Bundesliga, it's no surprise to see Gerd Muller's name on the list. The former World Cup winner was prominent figure during the Der Klassiker fixtures of the 1960s and 70s with Bayern, netting 15 goals against the BVB in 20 games, including one hat-trick and a four-goal haul.

2) Klaus Allofs - 21 goals

Klaus Allofs tormented Dortmund in the late 70s and early 80s, first with Eintracht Frankfurt and then with FC Koln and scored 21 goals against them in total from 25 games. His best performance was a four-goal salvo in a 6-1 victory for Koln in 1984.

1) Robert Lewandowski - 29 goals

It's one of life's great ironies that Robert Lewandowski has the most club goals against the side that made him a star. In 29 games against Dortmund after leaving them in 2014, the Polish ace has struck 29 goals, including two hat-tricks. Most recently, he netted twice against them with Barcelona in last year's 4-0 Champions League quarter-finals win at Camp Nou.
