Borussia Dortmund resume their Champions League campaign tomorrow with a visit to Norway where Bodo/Glimt await them at the Aspmyra Stadion.

It's a rematch of their duel from last year, held at the Signal Iduna Park but occuring in the League Phase just like their upcoming clash.

The sides played out an entertaining 2-2 draw with the BVB twice seeing their lead canceled out by Superlaget. Now, the sides gear up for their second official meeting in Europe.

However, Dortmund aren't privy to Norwegian sides, having played a few of them in the past. Here's how they stack up:

How many Norwegian teams have Dortmund played?

In total, Dortmund have played four Norwegian sides in their European history - Lyn, Odds BK, Rosenborg and Bodo/Glimt, across seven games.

Lyn were the first side of them all, playing a two-legged European Cup tie in the first qualifying round back in 1963.

It took another 36 years before they faced a side from the Nordic country again as BVB were drawn against Rosenborg in the group stages of the 1999-2000 Champions League season.

In the Europa League qualifying of the 2015-16 season, Dortmund played Odds BK in the fourth round. And as mentioned earlier, they played Bodo/Glimt in the League Phase of last season's Champions League.

What is Dortmund's record against Norwegian teams?

Across seven games against teams from Norway, Dortmund have won four as they beat Lyn and Odds BK home and away.

Against Lyn, the BVB won the first leg 4-2 on the road before a 3-1 win at home in the return.

Against Odds BK, they prevailed 4-3 away from home before a stunning 7-2 victory in the second leg at the Signal Iduna Park.

The Bundesliga side failed to beat Rosenborg in both games, drawing 2-2 on the road before a shock 3-0 home loss.

As for Bodo/Glimt, Dortmund were pegged back twice in their match against them as the sides settled for a 2-2 draw.

What's Dortmund's record against Norwegian sides in the Champions League?

Speaking of Champions League specifically, Dortmund have played only Rosenborg and Bodo/Glimt from Norway in a total of three matches.

As discussed above, the BVB failed to beat Rosenborg home and away in their 1999 clash while also mustering just a draw at home to Bodo/Glimt last year.

Tomorrow will be Dortmund's eighth game against a Norwegian side, fourth in the Champions League and a second against Bodo/Glimt.
