Borussia Dortmund host Eintracht Frankfurt at the Signal Iduna Park on Saturday for matchday seven of the 2026-27 Bundesliga season.

The BVB are looking to pick themselves up from consecutive draws against Werder Bremen and Union Berlin which brought their four-game winning run to a juddering halt.

With 14 points from six games, Niko Kovac's side are currently level with arch-rivals Bayern Munich, who although lead Dortmund in first place by virtue of goal-difference.

However, the Black and Yellow are coming off the back of a narrow 2-1 win over Sabah FK in the Champions League on Tuesday which eased some of the pressure that had been building lately.

Serhou Guirassy bagged both their goals on the night in Baku, ending their three-game winless run in all competitions.

Dortmund will be aiming to build on this win and get their Bundesliga campaign up and running again with a fifth triumph.

Eintracht Frankfurt are in 11th place with two wins, draws and losses from six games and eight points in the bag.

The Eagles are coming off a narrow 1-0 win over FC Koln at the weekend but were crushed 6-0 by RB Leipzig in their last way match.

As for Frankfurt, Oscar Hojlund is the only potential doubt. The Eagles could start both their prolific forwards, Jonathan Burkardt and Younes Ebnoutalib for extra attacking firepower.

Borussia Dortmund vs Eintracht Frankfurt Prediction

The midweek win was much-needed, fueling Dortmund's confidence again after a few poor results. Their attacking game was strong and held out superbly in defense too. Frankfurt also boast some quality attacking options who could ruffle a few feathers but the BVB should be able to see them off, narrowly.
