According to Sky Sports journalist Patrick Berger, Borussia Dortmund sent a representative to Wembley to watch the Championship Final, in which Sunderland orchestrated a 2-1 comeback win, boosting the Black Cats back to the Premier League. However, more than watching the match, this BVB emissary remained in contact with the Bellingham family for Jobe's transfer to the Signal Iduna Park.

Dortmund plan to make an offer for Jobe Bellingham soon, as the Black and Yellows aim to sign Jobe before the Club World Cup starts. While Jobe Bellingham deservedly took some time to focus on the final and now celebrate with his teammates, the young talent is expected to make a decision on his future soon.

Borussia Dortmund consider Jobe Bellingham their priority target for the summer transfer window, with Rayan Cherki also being high on the list. Other German clubs are also in the race for Bellingham's signature, with Eintracht Frankfurt and RB Leipzig also keen on the player. With Sunderland also offering Premier League football next season, Jobe Bellingham will need to decide whether he goes abroad or stays and continues his development in his home country.

The Brit has not played in any top divisions just yet, but with many clubs interested in his services, reports indicate that Bellingham could cost around 30 million euros for the Black and Yellows. With apparently no more obstacles for Borussia Dortmund with the season's end, Bellingham's future will likely be clear in the next few days, and whether he will follow his brother's footsteps or write his own story.
