Two Borussia Dortmund players are said to be on Chelsea's radar on the back of their strong performances in recent months.
Chelsea's spending prowess in the transfer market has been on full display over the last few windows, and the English Premier League giants have seemingly set their sights on signing two players from Borussia Dortmund. According to Sky Sport, two of BVB's most talented players are attracting the interest of Enzo Maresca's side.
Could Borussia Dortmund duo join Chelsea?
The players in question are Karim Adeyemi and Gregor Kobel. This is not the first time either player has been linked with a move to Chelsea. The report adds that Adeyemi's new agent also represents Chelsea star Nicolas Jackson, and is said to have excellent contacts at the club.
Other English Premier League clubs are also reported to be interested in signing Adeyemi, who was heavily linked with a move to Juventus this past summer.
Gregor Kobel is another player on Chelsea's list of targets, with the Blues not satisfied with their current goalkeeping situation. Chelsea are said to be probing the goalkeeper market. And Kobel, regarded as one of the top goalkeepers in the world, could emerge as a target.
Among the other clubs who have been linked with a move for Kobel in the past are Bayern Munich and Manchester United. But the 27 year old has stated on several occasions that his desire is to win trophies with Borussia Dortmund.
Karim Adeyemi has three years left on his current contract, while Gregor Kobel's current contract with Borussia Dortmund has four years left to run.
