Guirassy the hero again as Dortmund left it late in Wolfsburg

Borussia Dortmund struck late to beat Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga on Saturday with Serhou Guirassy firing an 88th-minute winner to earn them a 2-1 victory.

Coming into fixture on the back of four consecutive wins, Der BVB were heavy favorites to prevail again, especially considering their overwhelmingly good record against the Wolves.

Julian Brandt fired them in front after 38 minutes as Niko Kovac's side went into the break with a 1-0 lead, though it didn't last too long after the restart.

Die Wolfe returned from the break stronger and equalized seven minutes later as Konstantinos Koulierakis made it 1-1.

Thereon, the visitors huffed and puffed for a winner and it came through Guirassy with only three minutes of normal time remaining.

Daniel Svensson - 7.5: Drove forward well to supply forwards with a range of inviting crosses and created a few chances too

Julian Brandt - 7.5: Fired the visitors on front with a well-placed header

Maximilian Beier - 6: Made a few attempts but most of them were blocked as the star lacked shot accuracy

Serhou Guirassy - 8: Just like in the last game, the Guinean international popped up with a late winner once again, highlighting his importance in the squad
