Borussia Dortmund visit the Borussia Park on Sunday to face Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga on matchday 32.

With their confidence restored after the 4-0 drubbing of Freiburg, the BVB are looking to win their remaining games and finish the season strongly.

The Foals, meanwhile, are just six points off relegation after failing to win their last five top-flight matches as Gladbach look to stave off the red zone.

Here's what happened in their last five meetings:

Dortmund 4-2 Gladbach (November 2023, Bundesliga)

Just months on from a stunning 5-2 demolition at the Signal Iduna Park, Gladbach were back in town and appeared to have learnt their lesson as they led 2-0 inside the opening 30 minutes of the clash with Rocco Reitz and Manu Kone giving them a two-goal cushion.

However, their celebrations were short-lived as Dortmund responded in style. Marcel Sabitzer, Nicklas Fullkrug and Jamie Gittens all netted apiece before the half-time whistle to put the BVB 3-2 up, while Donyell Malen added gloss to the scoreline with a fourth in the 90th minute.

Gladbach 1-2 Dortmund (April 2024, Bundesliga)

In the return clash, it was Dortmund who led 2-0 early on as two strikes from Marcel Sabitzer in the 22nd and 28th minute gave them a comfortable lead, although Maximilian Wober pulled one back for the Foals in the 36th minute.

Die Borussen were expected to level the tie after the break but the BVB held firm and saw out the remainder of the clash to complete their first league double in the fixture since the 2019-20 Bundesliga season.

Gladbach 1-1 Dortmund (December 2024, Bundesliga)

Unlike their previous two clashes, this one was rather cagey and tense. Both sides failed to find the back of the net in the opening stanza and went into the break level at 0-0.

Gittens then broke the deadlock for Dortmund in the 64th minute but the Foals responded through Kevin Stoger another seven minutes later as the rivals drew for the first time in 25 clashes!

Dortmund 3-2 Gladbach (April 2025, Bundesliga)

Back at the Westfalonstadion and back in front. Ko Itakura made it 1-0 for the visitors after only 24 minutes into the kick-off, but as on their last visit to Dortmund, the hosts pegged them back with a solid comeback.

Serhou Guirassy, Felix Nmecha and Daniel Svensson struck apiece to make it 3-1 for Dortmund before the break as the BVB fought back an early deficit to get back into the driver's seat. Stoger was on target for the Foals again in the second half but they ultimately fell short of the elusive equalizer.

Dortmund 2-0 Gladbach (December 2025, Bundesliga)

The second consecutive game at the Signal Iduna Park but this time, Dortmund were in control right from the start as Julian Brandt made it 1-0 inside the opening 10 minutes.

Uncharacteristically toothless on the day, the Foals fell short in the second half too while Maximilian Beier consolidated the scoreline in stoppage-time with his fourth goal of the season.
