16 Borussia Dortmund players called up for international duty

A total of 16 Borussia Dortmund players will be in action for their respective national teams during this month's international break.

The latest edition of the UEFA Nations League is about to get underway, and Julian Nagelsmann has included five Borussia Dortmund players in his Germany squad. Nico Schlotterbeck, Waldemar Anton, Emre Can, Pascal Groß, and Maximilian Beier will represent the DFB team as they take on Hungary and the Netherlands.

First senior call-up for Julien Duranville; Gregor Kobel set to become Switzerland number one

Julien Duranville has received his first call-up to the Belgium national team. The highly rated Borussia Dortmund winger will hope to make his senior debut for the Red Devils as they face Israel and France.

Gregor Kobel is set to become Switzerland's new first-choice goalkeeper following the national team retirement of Yann Sommer. He will be in Nations League action against Denmark and Spain.

The Netherlands have called up Donyell Malen for their UEFA Nations League matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Germany. Julian Ryerson and Norway will be in action against Kazakhstan and Austria. Marcel Sabitzer will hope to lead Austria's charge for their Nations League matches against Slovenia and Norway.

Ramy Bensebaini and Algeria will get their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign underway with matches against Equatorial Guinea and Liberia. The USMNT has friendly matches coming up against Canada and New Zealand, and Gio Reyna is set to be involved.

Karim Adeyemi is part of the Germany U-21s squad that will be in Euro U-21 qualifying action against Israel and Estonia. Jamie Gittens will hope to continue his strong run of form as the England U-21s go up against Northern Ireland and Austria.

Germany U-19s have called up two Borussia Dortmund youngsters in Kjell Wätjen and Almugera Kabar for their upcoming matches against Italy and England.
