Borussia Dortmund set to complete double signing

Borussia Dortmund are set to raid the English Premier League for two players, and will bolster their squad with the signings of Pascal Groß and Yan Couto.

Pascal Groß is already in Dortmund after an agreement was reached between BVB and Brighton & Hove Albion over a €7 million deal for the midfielder. The 33 year old will now undergo his medical tests before putting pen to paper on a two-year contract.

The Borussia Dortmund midfield desperately needed some reinforcements and the arrival of Groß should give the team a big boost.

Yan Couto to join Borussia Dortmund on initial loan deal with obligation to buy

Joining Groß at Borussia Dortmund will be highly rated Manchester City right-back Yan Couto. The Brazilian international will join the Black and Yellows on an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy for around 25 million euros.

According to Sky Sport, the conditions to make the signing permanent should be easy to meet. Some details still need to be resolved. But he is also set to fly to Dortmund and complete the move this week.

Borussia Dortmund were desperate to sign a new right-back, and in Couto they are bringing in one of the most talented young full-backs in the world. The 22 year old is coming off an excellent season on loan with Girona, and will look to make a similar impact at BVB.

Yan Couto will compete with Julian Ryerson for a starting spot at right-back at Borussia Dortmund. Although the two could also start in the same team, with the latter also more than capable of playing at left-back.
