Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko is said to be attracting the interest of OGC Nice, with the French club hoping to sign him on a loan deal with an option to buy.
The final week of the summer transfer window is almost upon us and Youssoufa Moukoko is still looking to secure a move away from Borussia Dortmund. French club OGC Nice has now emerged as a potential suitor for the 19 year old.
Could OGC Nice sign Youssoufa Moukoko before transfer window closes?
According to L'Equipe, Nice and Moukoko already have an agreement in place on personal terms. Now the two clubs must reach an agreement over a fee for the striker. The report adds that Nice want to sign Moukoko on loan with an option to buy.
Moukoko has already seen potential transfers to Marseille and Real Betis fall through in recent weeks after the two clubs failed to meet Borussia Dortmund's demands for a sale.
The BVB bosses are open to letting Moukoko leave on an initial loan deal, but only if the deal includes a realistic option to make the signing permanent at a fee they are comfortable with.
Moukoko's agent made it clear last month that his client is determined to leave the club before the transfer window closes. The talented striker has been left out of the BVB squad for their opening two games of the season.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Youssoufa Moukoko, who has two years left on his current contract with Borussia Dortmund. Both the club and the player will hope that a solution can be found in the coming days.
