Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi netted a hat-trick for the Germany U-21s on Tuesday, continuing his impressive run of form.

It was an international break to remember for Karim Adeyemi as he scored five goals in two games for the Germany U-21s. The 22 year old scored twice in Germany's 5-1 win over the Israel U-21s. He followed that up with an impressive hat-trick as Antonio Di Salvo's side claimed an emphatic 10-1 win over Estonia in the 2025 European U-21 Championship qualifiers.

Adeyemi has yet to open his goalscoring account for Borussia Dortmund this season, but his goals on international duty will certainly give him confidence as he looks to establish himself as an important player for Nuri Sahin's team.

The forward will also be keen to force his way back into the Germany senior team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. And if he can manage to build on his recent performances in the coming weeks, Julian Nagelsmann will certainly be prompted into giving him an opportunity.

Germany play out 2-2 draw with the Netherlands

Elsewhere, Germany and the Netherlands played out a 2-2 draw on Tuesday with a total of five Borussia Dortmund players in action.

Nico Schlotterbeck and Pascal Groß once again played from the start for Germany, while Waldemar Anton, Emre Can, and Maximilian Beier all came off the bench. Donyell Malen was an unused substitute for the Netherlands in this UEFA Nations League clash.

Tijjani Reijnders opened the scoring for the Netherlands in the second minute, before Deniz Undav spearheaded Germany's comeback with a goal and an assist. Joshua Kimmich put Germany ahead just before the half-time break, but Denzel Dumfries scored in the 50th minute to ensure a share of the spoils.

Germany and the Netherlands both have four points after two games in their UEFA Nations League group.
