Nuri Sahin expects Borussia Dortmund to make player sales before transfer window closes

Player sales will be on the agenda for Borussia Dortmund during the final ten days of the summer transfer window, Nuri Sahin has revealed.
It has been a busy summer so far for Borussia Dortmund, with the club making a total of five signings. Waldemar Anton (Stuttgart) and Yan Couto (Manchester City) have arrived to bolster the BVB defence, with Pascal Groß joining from Brighton & Hove Albion to shore up the midfield. The Black and Yellows have also signed Serhou Guirassy (Stuttgart) and Maximilian Beier (Hoffenheim) to spearhead their attack.
More new signings are not expected at Borussia Dortmund this summer, with the club's main focus now to sell some players.
"I am very satisfied" - Nuri Sahin on Borussia Dortmund squad
Nuri Sahin is happy with the squad that has been assembled by Sebastian Kehl and co., and believes that a few more players could leave the club before the transfer window closes.
"I'm very happy with the squad. I think that something will happen on the departures side because it won't be easy for some players [to get playing time]. I'm very happy with the additions. We have done a very, very good job in our first transfer window. As things stand, I am very satisfied," Sahin said during Thursday's pre-match press conference.
Youssoufa Moukoko is the biggest candidate for departure, having signalled his desire to leave the club via his agent. The highly rated striker has already seen moves to Marseille and Real Betis fall through, and it will be interesting to see what the future holds for him.
