Borussia Dortmund will be desperate to display their title credentials this weekend as they take on Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen. The Black and Yellows find themselves ten points behind top spot going into matchday 13, and will be keen to cut that gap on Sunday.

Bayer Leverkusen have hardly put a foot wrong so far this season, and will go into Sunday's game as slight favourites. But Borussia Dortmund have found their form in their last two games, and have made it a habit of getting results despite not playing the most expansive football this season.

Edin Terzic will be sweating on the availability of the likes of Niklas Süle, Ramy Bensebaini, and Salih Özcan ahead of Sunday's game, with the trio dealing with a bout of illness. Here we take a look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up for their Bundesliga clash against Bayer Leverkusen.

Gregor Kobel continued his incredible run of form by saving Olivier Giroud's penalty earlier this week. He could well be in for another tough assignment against the free-scoring Bayer Leverkusen.

Mats Hummels rolled back the years with an exemplary defensive display against AC Milan, and will hope to show his quality against the dangerous Victor Boniface this weekend. Nico Schlotterbeck is set to partner the veteran centre-back in the heart of the BVB defence.

Julian Ryerson and Ramy Bensebaini are Borussia Dortmund's first choice full-backs. But if the latter is unable to recover from his illness, Marius Wolf would be the obvious replacement.

Emre Can will marshall the Borussia Dortmund defence, and will have a key role to play in the number six role as he goes up against Florian Wirtz. The game will offer the former Bayer Leverkusen player with an opportunity to stake a claim for a spot in the Germany squad at the Euros.

Marcel Sabitzer has started to show his attacking qualities in recent games, and is set to start in the number eight role on Sunday. Julian Brandt should return to the starting XI and will look to make the difference against his former club.

Marco Reus was forced off with fatigue against AC Milan, but will hope to play from the start against Bayer Leverkusen. Jamie Bynoe-Gittens has been in excellent form of late and deserves his spot in the starting XI. But it will be interesting to see if Terzic hands the young England winger a third successive start in eight days.

Niclas Füllkrug will start up front for Borussia Dortmund, and will have a key role to play against the Bayer Leverkusen back three. Karim Adeyemi and Donyell Malen are the other attacking options that could be in contention to start on Sunday.
