Borussia Dortmund striker Sebastien Haller is said to be attracting the interest of FC Juárez, with the Liga MX side willing to pay him an annual salary of around ten million euros.

The future of Sebastien Haller is uncertain at the moment, with Borussia Dortmund pressing on with their plans to sign Serhou Guirassy. The move for the VfB Stuttgart striker is said to be on the home stretch. And with four strikers set to be on BVB’s books, Haller will fall further behind in the pecking order.

According to BILD, FC Juárez are said to be interested in signing Haller this summer. The report claims that the Mexican club are willing to pay the 30 year old an annual salary of ten million euros in a bid to convince him to make the switch to the Liga MX.

The tabloid adds that Haller is open to a move abroad, but it remains to be seen whether he would be interested in moving to Mexico. The Côte d'Ivoire international was linked with a move to Fulham in January, but spurned interest from the English Premier League side in favour of staying at Borussia Dortmund.

Haller, who joined Borussia Dortmund from AFC Ajax in 2022, is coming off a rather difficult season on club level. He was replaced by Niclas Füllkrug as the club’s first-choice striker and was limited to just 19 appearances across all competitions.

He was also forced to spend significant time on the sidelines due to various injury problems and managed to find the back of the net on just three occasions. Although he did score a crucial goal for the Black and Yellows in their Champions League quarterfinal against Atletico Madrid. And he also played an important role in Côte d'Ivoire’s triumph at the Africa Cup of Nations in January.

Borussia Dortmund will hope for a swift resolution to the future of Sebastien Haller, who has two years left on his current contract.
