Borussia Dortmund will be away from home once again this weekend as they take on Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga.

A potentially tricky test awaits Borussia Dortmund this weekend as they look to continue their bid to qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League. The Black and Yellows will go up against Werder Bremen, who have already pulled off a number of upsets this season.

Edin Terzic will know that his side cannot afford to drop points on Saturday, considering the tough run of fixtures they have coming up. But Bremen have already beaten Bayern Munich this season, and also held RB Leipzig to a draw in December. So Borussia Dortmund cannot afford to take them lightly.

Niclas Füllkrug will hope to lead from the front against his former club. The pressure will also be on Jadon Sancho, as he continues his bid to find his form. The Englishman may well have to make do with a spot on the bench on Saturday, as Donyell Malen is set to return to the Borussia Dortmund squad after serving his one-match suspension. Gregor Kobel is also expected to be able to feature. But Sebastien Haller remains sidelined as he works towards his comeback.

Bremen will be without injured defenders Marco Friedl and Amos Pieper, as well as the suspended Olivier Deman. Former Borussia Dortmund youth team players Njinmah and Marvin Ducksch have been Werder Bremen's best performers in attack this season. And they will hope to haunt their former club on Saturday.
