Borussia Dortmund will hope to keep their impressive run of form going this weekend as they square off against the struggling Wolfsburg.

Things are looking up for Borussia Dortmund after a strong start to 2024 that has seen them win four of their last five matches. The Black and Yellows are now sitting pretty in fourth place, and will hope to clinch a straightforward win against Wolfsburg this weekend.

Wolfsburg's last win came two months ago, and they have failed to get the three points any of their last six matches in the Bundesliga. The pressure is piling on Niko Kovač, with his side down to 12th place in the Bundesliga standings. Wolfsburg will be without Rogério, Tiago Tomás, Patrick Wimmer and Lukas Nmecha on Saturday.

Jonas Wind will have a key role to play for Wolfsburg against Borussia Dortmund, as he looks to put an end to his goal drought. January signing Kevin Behrens is another player in desperate need of a goal. Kevin Paredes has impressed since the turn of the year, and could be one to watch on Saturday.

Borussia Dortmund do not have too many injury concerns to deal with, although Felix Nmecha, Sebastien Haller and Karim Adeyemi are unavailable. Jadon Sancho and Julian Brandt will both hope to return to the starting XI after coming off the bench against Freiburg. Marco Reus scored the winning goal in the reverse fixture and could start again on Saturday.

Donyell Malen and Niclas Füllkrug are in excellent form at the moment, and will hope to keep their runs going against Wolfsburg.
