Fabio Silva was the hero for Borussia Dortmund at the Red Bull Arena on Saturday after netting a stoppage-time equalizer to force a 2-2 draw against RB Leipzig.
A first-half double from Christoph Baumgartner had the Red Bulls 2-0 up in the first half, but an own goal from Romulo Cardoso shortly into the restart gave them hope.
Dortmund were struggling to find an elusive equalizer as the match headed into extra-time, but that's when two substitutes linked up superbly to rescue a point for the BVB.
Karim Adeyemi scampered down the right flank and laid it off for Silva, who latched on to it nonchalantly for a low-drive into the bottom corner.
They might have rescued a point here but their winning run ended after six games while their gap with leaders Bayern Munich also extended to eight points.
Here are the player ratings for Dortmund:
Waldemar Anton - 6.5: Leipzig's attacking prowess had him on the ropes in the first half, getting beaten twice by Baumgartner too.
Luca Reggiani - 6: The teenager was a pale shadow of his former self at Atalanta that delivered a stoic display, looking shambolic here.
Waldemar Anton - 7.5: Kept biting at the heels of Leipzig for possession, winning six of his eight duels while also appearing strong in the air
Ramy Bensebaini - 6.5: Conceded a lot of fouls and even went into the books for an ill-timed challenge
Julian Ryerson - 7.5: The prolific assist-maker forced the own goal with another spectacular corner kick inside the box
Jobe Bellingham - 7: Made a handful of key recoveries and strung together a series of passes in the opposition half
Felix Nmecha - 5: Well below his best today; nothing meaningful to offer going forward and hardly ever tracking back when necessary
Daniel Svensson - 7: A menace on the flanks with his electric pace and excellent link-ups with his attacking cohorts; made four crosses and one key pass
Marcel Sabitzer - 6.5: Not the most glorious return to his old stomping ground; made a few attempts at goal but none were strong enough to get the better of Leipzig
Maximilian Beier - 4: Made just nine passes in 64 minutes of action, completing only four - need I say more?
Serhou Guirassy - 6: His shooting boots were missing again as Guirassy's hot scoring streak ended on a whimper
