Marcel Sabitzer was the unlikely hero for the BVB as the Austrian ace whipped in a sensational free-kick in the third minute of stoppage-time after Niclas Fullkrug's brace had canceled out Serhou Guirassy and Carney Chukwuemeka's first-half goals.
After losing out to Bremen in the cup thrice in a row, Dortmund finally broke the curse and reached the last-16 stage for the 15th time from the last 16 seasons.
