Mario Gotze

More from BVB Buzz

Speaking of players who now look like their old self, we now come to Mario Gotze. The world cup winner has really hit good form under Bosz, and works well in the 4-3-3 system that the Dutch manager deploys.

His quick wits and mature passing play combines with his attacking mentality to create a player that instigates in the final third and causes opposing defenders problems. Gotze has often been at the helm of Dortmund attacks, orchestrating where the ball goes.

“Super Mario” is looking like the pre-Bayern player that Dortmund fans recognize and love. If that form continues he will establish a permanent position in Bosz’s starting squad.
