Alex comes from Stockholm, Sweden, the same city as Alexander Isak comes from. He found out about Borussia Dortmund while playing FIFA as a teenager and his love for the team has evolved over the years. He loves the passion and the beliefs of the club and one day hopes to visit the Signal Iduna Park.
How did you become a Borussia Dortmund fan?
I have always watched a lot of football, and as a big fan of FIFA, Borussia Dortmund have been my team since I started playing it when I was like 12 years. It was the beginning for me in a young age and since then my feelings for Dortmund have grown bigger and bigger.

When I was a teenager I often found ways to watch the team through different bad streams. I really cannot understand how a person can have real feelings for oil-clubs like Manchester City or Paris Saint-Germain. For me football is about reaching the goals the club aiming for have and to do that you normally have to go through the rough times together that is necessary to finally reach the goals, which often is about winning matches and titles.
This also includes to develop the clubs organization which includes academy, economy, a belief among the supporters and things like that. Dortmund is just about that – passion, see things in a longer perspective, development – and this is a few of the main reasons why I found Dortmund to be such a great club.
What’s been your favorite memory as a Borussia Dortmund fan so far?
There are so many different memories, not only the ones that are about winning titles or matches. The latest memory that still grows even bigger is the development of Christian Pulisic. He is still so young and has made such an impact at a club like ours and also in his national team.
To see an upcoming superstar from the young age of his in Dortmund is wonderful. Then of course the seasons 2012 and 2013 are highly ranked when it comes to favorite memories.
Who is your favorite player at the club?
For me Christian Pulisic is one of a kind. He always makes impact in matches and it feels like he takes every moment seriously. He does not lose focus or anything during the games. As the goal machine Aubameyang is he is also a favorite, it is hard to not like a goalscorer.
Alexander Isak is also a favorite for me as a Swede, the funny thing is that he was bought in from AIK in Sweden which are my favorite team here since I was born. I really hope to see him get success in Dortmund the upcoming years.
Which player would you like to see at Borussia Dortmund?
We often see many talents join Borussia Dortmund and that is, like I said, something I really enjoy. As a Borussia Dortmund fan it is kinda hard to make a list over potential transfer targets because the transfer-strategy with bringing young players to the club. In the summer I was hoping that André Silva would be the replacement for Aubameyang if he decided to leave, but Silva went to Milan and Aubameyang stayed. I have read rumours about him leaving Italy, if that is true then he should be the one to take over from Aubameyang for the years to come.
Where do you think Borussia Dortmund will finish this season in the Bundesliga and in Europe?
I think Dortmund will finish in a top 4 position in the Bundesliga and grab a Champions League spot for next season. And in Europe, it is necessary to have some luck with the draws.
But I am confident that Dortmund will win against Atalanta over two games and go through to the next round. Dortmund should be considered as one of the favorites in Europe League in my opinion, there is enough depth in the squad to handle both Bundesliga and Europe League if everyone is healthy. The future looks bright again with Peter Stoger.
