Last match: Borussia Mönchengladbach 0 VfB Stuttgart 1
Analysis: Hecking’s side were up against relegation facing, Stuttgart in the Bundesliga last weekend. It was a frustrating game for Mönchengladbach where they dominated most of the possession throughout the game. A 5th-minute strike from Stuttgart’s Ginczek proved the only goal of the match, seeing the visitors suffer back to back 1-0 defeats.
Opposition star man – Thorgan Hazard
Brother of the famous Eden Hazard – Thorgan has been a bright spot for his club this season. With 7 goals and 4 assists, the Belgium midfielder is topping both the charts at Mönchengladbach. Mostly plays on the right side of the pitch but his best performances have come from the left. A set-piece menace with excellent passing and crossing abilities – is an apt way to describe him. It will be important for the Dortmund defense to ensure that the 24-year old has a quiet game.
