The two teams took on each other at the Allianz Arena in what was an extremely one-sided match.

Bayern started their strongest line-up and there was no mistaking it. In goal, started Ulreich, who has been in charge due to Manuel Neuer’s injury. The defense was formed by Rafinha, Boateng, Hummels, and Alaba. In midfield, Javi Martinez was joined by Muller & Rodriguez while the front three was Ribery, Robben & Lewandowski. Dortmund started their usual side with Schmelzer & Piszczek occupying the flanks, Sokratis & Akanji started as center-backs. In midfield, Castro was joined by Dahoud & Gotze. The front line was formed by Pulisic, Schurrle, and Batshuayi.

Within two minutes, Muller was taking a shot on goal. However, it wasn’t until the fifth minute that Muller set Lewandowski free for the first goal of the game. The Pole took a beautiful shot aimed at the far post; Burki had no chance. Lewandowski was offside, but the defense was still very porous.

1-0, Bayern.

At the eighth minute, Muller crossed the ball low and hard into the box. James Rodriguez back-heeled it into the path of an arriving Ribery who struck it with menace into the inside-top corner of the net.

Fortunately, the referee caught the offside this time.

Within five minutes of the goal being ruled out, Alaba sent in a low cross towards the box which James finished calmly from under a diving Burki.

2-0, Bayern.

Another five minutes, another goal. James Rodriguez dinked the ball into the box from a wide position as Bayern broke free on the counter. Muller was more than happy to triple the home side’s lead.

3-0, Bayern.

After a mazy run into the box, Ribery managed to bring the ball inches from the goal before losing his balance and falling over. Robert Lewandowski was nearby, however, and acted quickly to finish the chance minutes before half-time.

4-0, Bayern.

Ribery was probably not happy with what happened and managed to find the back of the net with a chip over Burki in a spectacular play from the Bavarians.

5-0, Bayern.

The closest that Dortmund came to scoring a goal was when Gotze slipped while taking a shot from outside the box and managed to hit the woodwork.

After some half-chances for both sides, it was Bayern who drew blood once more. Another cross arrived into the box from Kimmich for Lewandowski who didn’t hesitate to finish his chance.

The Pole managed to score a hattrick against his former side BVB within minutes of full-time.

6-0, Bayern.

The referee had absolutely no reason to give any added time and the game ended in rather uncomfortable fashion for Borussia Dortmund.
