More from BVB Buzz

Thomas Müller enjoyed a stellar, record breaking campaign for Bayern, showing that he is not done yet by any means. The former German international notched up a whopping 21 assists this season, along with his eight goals, a Bundesliga record.

He played an instrumental role in Bayern’s title win, and rewarded Hansi Flick’s faith in him with world class performances week in, week out.

The 30 year old did not shy away from putting in a shift for his side, and his contributions both in defence and attack helped him go from a bench warmer under Nico Kovac, to star man under Hansi Flick

Müller’s creativity and ability to break defences proved to be crucial for the Bavarians, as they won their eighth successive Bundesliga title this season.
