Axel Witsel (7/10)

Witsel offered Borussia Dortmund more creativity in midfield after coming on, and provided an excellent low cross for Marcel Schmelzer’s goal.

Marcel Schmelzer (9/10)

Schmelzer came on with just over ten minutes to go, and got himself a goal and an assist. It was great to see him find the net for the first time since the 2013/14 season.

Gio Reyna (N/R)

Reyna was denied his first Bundesliga goal thanks to an excellent save by the Paderborn goalkeeper. He showed some good tricks and flicks during his short cameo.

Mateu Morey (N/R)

Making his Borussia Dortmund debut, Morey made quite an impression during his short stay on the pitch. His assist for Sancho’s third goal showed great vision, and hopefully it will earn him more chances in the first team.

Leonardo Balerdi (N/R)

Only touched the ball once, but will be hoping to start next weekend with Hummels out suspended.
