Karim Adeyemi has officially left Borussia Dortmund after four spectacular years and joined Spanish champions FC Barcelona on a €29 million transfer.

The German international gave us many joyous moments during his spell at the club which every BVB fan would cherish for years to come.

Adeyemi accrued 146 games for the side in all competitions while scoring 36 goals and assisting another 25.

Though an attacking midfielder by trade, he still averaged almost 10 goals per season at Dortmund - a testament to his finishing skills.

In honor of his splendid contributions for Borussia Dortmund, we look at his five best strikes in the fabled Black and Yellow:

Hertha Berlin, February 2023 (Bundesliga)

Unlike most goals on this list, Karim Adeyemi didn't burst into his trademark dribbles or showcase his scintillating acceleration. He merely produced a fine touch that would even put the most seasoned strikers to shame.

Marco Reus carried the ball forward and teed up Adeyemi inside the box. The German stood with his back against the goal but made a top-notch backheel before pirouetting to find the ball into the back of the net.

Wolfsburg, September 2025 (Bundesliga)

Karim Adeyemi's final season at Borussia Dortmund may have fizzled out towards the tail end of the campaign but he was on fire during the initial stages and bagged a couple of goals too. However, none could top off this one against Wolfsburg.

Collecting the ball on the right, Adeyemi turns and prances into acres of space in front of the Wolfsburg area before unleashing a fearsome strike from almost 30 yards out that bolts into the back of the net beyond the dispairing dive of Die Wolfe goalkeeper Kamil Grabara.

It was later named as the Bundesliga Goal of the Month for September 2025.

Celtic, October 2024 (UEFA Champions League)

Adeyemi's only hat-trick for Borussia Dortmund came against Celtic in the UEFA Champions League as the Bundesliga side crushed the Scottish giants 7-1 at the Signal Iduna Park. Among the bunch of strikes on that memorable night of 2 October 2024, Adeyemi took the cake for his powerful long-range finish.

Having put Dortmund ahead in the 11th minute, the midfielder came back to haunt Celtic near the half-hour mark as a corner was played in and Celtic failed to clear it. Adeyemi bolted inside the area on the edge of the box and cleared it away from his marker to make a sublime finish for 3-1.

St. Pauli, March 2025 (Bundesliga)

Adeyemi is unstoppable when he's on the run; a defensive nightmare in counter-attacking situations. St. Pauli got a taste of it too last year when the German bolted on the break and beat three players before making a sumptuous finish.

Pouncing on a defensive error, Adeyemi raced from the halfway line with St. Pauli completely caught out, beating one marker, then cutting out another, and finally smashing a shot inbetween two players for 2-0.

Chelsea, February 2023 (UEFA Champions League)

A counter-attacking classic, Karim Adeyemi truly demonstrated his potential with a stunning solo goal against Chelsea. Dortmund were quick to clear a corner and Adeyemi raced to connect with a looping cross.

He then drove several yards forward, evading Enzo Fernandez on the break and then rounding off Blues custodian Kepa Arrizabalaga inside the box to finish it inside an empty net and win the match for Dortmund.

The pace, the dribble, the ball control and the finish - everything about Adeyemi's goal was sublime.
