Borussia Dortmund will be desperate to return to winning ways in the Bundesliga on Friday when they take on VfL Bochum at the Westfalenstadion.

A Ruhr Derby clash between Borussia Dortmund and VfL Bochum will take centre stage in the Bundesliga on Friday evening. The Black and Yellows go into the 'mini Revierderby' on the back of a humiliating 5-1 defeat at the hands of Stuttgart. They will hope to take their frustrations out on Bochum, who have yet to win a game this season.

Nuri Sahin's side will certainly fancy their chances of getting the three points against Bochum. But in order to do that, they will need to be more incisive in attack and much sharper defensively.

We could see a few changes to the Borussia Dortmund starting XI following the heavy defeat to Stuttgart. It will be interesting to see if Sahin sticks with the system and shape that was dismantled so easily last weekend. He will no doubt hope to see a reaction from his team after the Stuttgart game.

Borussia Dortmund will be without Gio Reyna again on Saturday, while Felix Nmecha is a doubt. The rest of the squad should be available for selection. Maximilian Beier, Jamie Gittens, and Yan Couto are among those who will be pushing for a spot in the starting XI.

Bochum will be without injured centre-back Bernardo on Friday as they look to finally kick-start their campaign. Myron Boadu and Matus Bero will be crucial to Bochum's hopes on Friday. There will also be a reunion with former Borussia Dortmund right-back Felix Passlack.
