Borussia Dortmund are resigned to missing out on the signature of Jadon Sancho, with Juventus pushing to get the deal for the Manchester United star over the line.
Jadon Sancho is keen to leave Manchester United this summer, and has unsurprisingly been linked with a return to Borussia Dortmund in recent months. After spending the second half of last season on loan at the Westfalenstadion, there is interest at the club in bringing him back to Germany once again.
Could Jadon Sancho be set for Juventus move?
The chances of BVB signing the 24 year old are unlikely though, with Juventus currently leading the race for his signature. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Italian giants are in contact with Sancho's representatives as they look to get the deal done before the transfer window closes in a week's time.
The report adds that Juventus are pushing to sign Sancho on an initial loan deal and are determined to get the deal done, despite the player's wages proving to be a significant obstacle. The former Borussia Dortmund forward is open to a move to the Serie A as he views the transfer as an opportunity to relaunch his career.
Sancho has been left out of the Manchester United squad for each of their last two games, and has reportedly made it clear to the club that he wants to leave.
Reports of him repairing his relationship with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag have proven to not be true. And he will hope to seal a move away from the Premier League side before the transfer window closes. However, it looks increasingly unlikely that his next destination will be Borussia Dortmund.
