Youssoufa Moukoko is closing in on a move away from Borussia Dortmund, with OGC Nice on the verge of reaching an agreement to sign him on an initial loan deal.

Borussia Dortmund and OGC Nice are reportedly set to reach an agreement over a deal for Youssoufa Moukoko. According to Fabrizio Romano, the French club has also received the green light for the move from the talented striker. Moukoko is expected to move to Nice on an initial loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season.

Youssoufa Moukoko set to seal Borussia Dortmund exit

The 19 year old is determined to leave Borussia Dortmund this summer due to his lack of playing time at the club. Moukoko's agent made it clear last month that his client wants to leave BVB. And while proposed moves to Marseille and Real Betis fell through, it appears that the striker will now join OGC Nice.

Moukoko made his Borussia Dortmund first-team debut just one day after his 16th birthday, becoming the youngest player to ever play for the club. It did not take long for him to showcase his potential on the first-team level. But he found it difficult to establish himself as a regular starter. In 99 appearances for the Black and Yellows, the striker has scored 18 goals and assisted a further eight.

As he gets ready to join OGC Nice, Moukoko will hope to feature regularly and continue his development in the coming months. Widely regarded as one of the most talented young strikers in Europe, it will be interesting to see what lies in store for him in the coming months and years.
